GRIEVANCE & BEREAVEMENT

Grief is what a person thinks and feels on the inside after someone they love dies.  Mourning is the outward expression of those thoughts and feelings.  All mourners have basic needs during their grief journey.  They need to:
Accept the Reality of the Death
Let Yourself Feel the Pain of the Loss
            Remember the Person Who Died
            Develop a New Self Identity
            Search for Meaning
Let Others Help You----Now and Always
Our bereavement counselors are available to support you and your family for 13 months after the death of your loved one.  We realize this is a very difficult time for you and our support and encouragement will be provided via phone calls, cards or follow up visits as deemed necessary or according to your need.  (There’s a saying I want to add from one of our books:
